Questions people ask
How long does it take?
Most sites are live about two weeks after our first call. Bigger sites take longer, and a lot depends on how quickly the words and photos come together. I'll give you a realistic date before we start.
Next.js or WordPress: which should I choose?
For most businesses I recommend a custom-built Next.js site. It's faster, very secure and costs £600. WordPress costs £800 and makes sense if you want to update pages, news and photos yourself every week. Tell me how you'll use the site and I'll recommend one.
What's included in hosting?
Hosting comes with every care plan, from £10 a month: UK servers, an SSL certificate, daily backups, uptime monitoring and security. Plus and Pro add changes each month. If you pay monthly, hosting is already included in the £99.
Do you work outside Cardiff?
Yes. I'm based in Cardiff and work with businesses across South Wales, including Newport, Swansea, Bridgend, Barry and Porthcawl. Most of the work happens over email and video calls, so distance is rarely a problem.
Can you help with FCA or Care Inspectorate Wales requirements?
Yes. For financial advisers I build with the FCA's rules on financial promotions in mind and work alongside your compliance adviser, who always has the final say. For nurseries I make sure the things parents look for, like your latest Care Inspectorate Wales report, policies and fees, are easy to find.
